The Centro de Ciencias de la Complejidad (C3) – UNAM invites students, researchers, and professionals to submit Research Posters for presentation during the 4th Semana de la Complejidad, which will take place from October 27 to 30, 2025, at the C3-UNAM, Ciudad Universitaria, Mexico City.

Objective

To promote interdisciplinary dialogue among research groups working on topics of national relevance that require or benefit from a complexity-oriented approach.

Subject areas

Bioinformatics and Systems Biology
Climate Change and Sustainability
Complexity Science
Ecology and Environment
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
Medicine and Health
• Neurosciences, Psychology, and Decision-Making
• Urbanism, Poverty Inequality and Social Justice

Priority will be given to interdisciplinary projects and those with potential for social impact.

Participation Requirements

1. Posters must be original and based on ongoing or completed research.
2. Undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and professionals from academic institutions, research centers, and public institutions are welcome to participate.
3. Posters may be submitted in Spanish or English.
4. Posters may be authored individually or collaboratively.

Submission Process and Considerations

1. Interested participants must submit a poster abstract (max. 500 words) in PDF or DOC format via the designated email or platform by Friday, July 4, 2025.
2. Notification of acceptance will be sent during the first week of September 2025.
3. Accepted posters must be presented in printed format on October 27, 2025, by at least one of the authors.

Evaluation Criteria

Submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee based on:

Relevance to the proposed subject areas
Originality and significance of content
Clarity in presentation
Methodological rigor

Poster Format

To ensure readability from a distance of 2 meters, we recommend the following text sizes:
Title: 42–48 pt, bold
Authors and affiliations: 30–36 pt
Subheadings: 30–36 pt
Body text: At least 20 pt
Font: Arial, black or navy blue, with light backgrounds

The poster must include:

Dimensions: 90 cm x 140 cm, vertical format
